The DevRel Collective was founded by Quinton Wall, a 20 year veteran of the developer relations profession. Initially a mobile app developer, Quinton spent years building developer communities and content for leading developer companies including BEA, Salesforce, Heroku, and Twilio before leaving to start his own consulting company helping early stage startups create and implement their developer strategies.

Quinton has written extensively on his learnings on developer relations, how developer relations fits into your organization, and debunking the biggest myths about developers relations in an effort of make great developer experiences accessible to every company. He quickly realized that there was a growing need for companies of all sizes to augment their teams and strategies to take a developer-first approach. This inspired him to found the DevRel collective to offer his services and experience, and provide other developer relations experts a supportive community of freelancers who can provide companies access to a network of profressionals for their specific needs.
